Job vacancy is available at the Atlas Service Group for thew positions of an HSE Engineer.

The QHSE Engineer supports and advises on the implementation of the QHSE management system and specific project requirements at a project level and supports the review, design and implementation of a multi-faceted corporate management system on a corporate level. The QHSE Engineer reports to the Department Head QHSE.

The (Q)HSE Engineer ensures that the established QHSE management systems are implemented and maintained in accordance with ISO standards, and applicable laws and regulations. As a (Q)HSE Engineer you also support and advise the Project Manager and discipline engineers on QHSE matters on a project basis. Next to that (Q)HSE Engineers support and advise vessel crew on QHSE matters.
The (Q)HSE Engineer monitors compliance with corporate and project QHSE requirements and locally applicable rules and regulations. He liaises with client QHSE professionals on the implementation of project specific QHSE requirements. And he leads HAZID and risk assessments for projects, and follow up on actions raised. The (Q)HSE Engineer reviews project environmental impact assessments and advise on their implementation and keeps track of industry and regulatory developments, and proactively identify opportunities to improve the QHSE management systems. You also have to conduct internal and external audits as required by our clients’ management system and project requirements and promote QHSE awareness internally. As a (Q)HSE Engineer you travel to onshore and offshore workplaces to conduct inspection, audit and incident investigations as required. Finally the (Q)HSE Engineer liaises with external parties on matters concerning the QHSE management system.
  

• Degree in Safety Management
• Experience and knowledge of maintaining and operating management systems to the guiding standards
