Well, it seems the most recent trend so far is “Protest” as Universities, Polytechnics and even Colleges have joined the team of protesting institutions to go on a forceful break. The new Institutions on board is the Federal College of Education in Gombe State.
There was unrest this morning at the Federal College of Education in Gombe State (TECH) following a protest over lack of water in the school. The students were agitating against the attitude of the provost, Gimba Abbas Adam in helping them resolve the longing water scarcity.
Authorities have shut down the school as armed security men have been called in to control the students and prevent breakdown of law and order. Below are photos from the protest.
