Yesterday there was an update regarding schools going on holidays during the election period only after the decision has been made via a meeting with minister of education and all 36 states commissioners.
The Minister of Education, Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau, has said public schools throughout the country will remain in session during the February 14 and 28 elections.
Shekarau said this in Abuja on Monday after a meeting with the state commissioners for education.
