Is very surprising but realities are better told than left unheard. The Rivers State Sustainable Development Agency (RSSDA) scholarship programme has always been an annual events. If you check through our scholarship archive over the past few years, you will observe that the RSSDA scholarship has been in mute for two years now. Before now, the scholarship was always kicking off at the begining of every chritamas period where every interested candidates was made to submit an application via online or their Local Government Areas and after which, invited for an interview.

This was the tradition of the RSSDA scholarship board until the year 2013 when nothing was heard from the board anymore. Loadedvilla.com actually gave you hope since the board had never disappointed. At first, we all thought this was the problem of political instability cloned to the current administration of Rivers State. All that conclusion was blown away into the air when the Rivers State Government or the board said nothing about the scholarship program-me for this year. I had searched the website of the RSSDA but seen nothing engineering any hope for a scholarship programme in the year 2015/2016. And i said to myself. ” This is another lost year for this year’s prospective candidates.”

7 days ago i met with a current beneficiary of the RSSDA scholarship 2012, we exchanged pleasantries and taking advantage of that scenario, i asked, “Hey Bro, Why have you not gone abroad yet”? and he replied me in a soft disappointing tone “I really do not know what is going on as i have gone for my training in Lagos but the board is yet to give us a call even up-til now 2015.” I was kind of shocked and began imagining if the board will actually shoot another RSSDA scholarship application programme without satisfying the ever pending successful candidates that have been left out in dying hopes.

Presently, my certainty of the scholarship holding this year is shaking since i am not sure of the continuity of the RSSDA scholarship programme. Are you looking for a scholarship programme? then use the scholarship category for the year 2015 and who knows, you may just be the next lucky one.
