The Nigerian Police Service Commission invites all interested applicant for recruitment into the Nigerian Police force as Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police(ASP).

There will be recruitment of ICT(Information Communication Technology) professionals in the following field mentioned below:
·         Systems Programmer/Database Developer
·         Geographic Information Systems
·         Networking (Wireless/Wired WAN and LAN)
·         Applications Development   
Applicants should have a BSc/HND (or its equivalent) with a minimum class degree of Second class Lower/upper Credit, in addition to the under-listed requirements:
1.) System Programmer/ Database Developer / Administrator (Sort Code A1)

Requirements

·         BSc / HND in computer science / Information and communication technology or an important discipline.
·         Plus an Additional Certification in Microsoft, Oracle, Proficiency in ASP.net, VB.net, C#, Java, HTML,  XHTML, CSS, SQL, or Javascript is required.

Requirements:


  • BSc / HND in computer science/  Geography / information and communication technology and other relevant discipline.
  • GIS and GPS Remote sensing, computer programming, Proficiency in GIS applications.
Requirements:

  • BSc / HND in computer science / geography / information and communication Technology / Mathematics or any additional relevant discipline.
  • Additional Certification and Proficiency in SQL,Java,MS-SQL,Web Application Development, Web programming, XML Technology, PHP and/or ASP.Net, Web designing with CMS, is required.  
Requirements:

·         BSc / HND in computer science / computer  Engineering, or any other relevant discipline.
·         Additional certification in Microsoft and great understanding of network (LAN,WAN,MAN,WLAN) deployment and management,Cisco,Mikrotik,VSAT,Microwave Installation / management, internet Security is required.
Other requirements needed:

Age: Applicants for ASP Cadre should be between the age grade of 23 and 28 years of age.
Height: Not less than 1.67 meters(5’6) for males and 1.67 meters(5’4) for the females.
Chest Measurement: Expanded chest measurement for males only and must not be less than 86cm (34”).
Physical Fitness: Applicants must not have any physical deformities and will be required to pass a medical examination of physical fitness conducted by an acceptable GovernmentHospital.
Must have a good character

Must be free of pecuniary embarrassment

Must not be suffering from the following: impediment of speech,knock knees, gross malfunction of teeth or jaw preventing proper mastication of food, Bow legs, Bent knees, Flat feet, Bent arms, deformed hands, defective eyesight, or squint eyes, Amputation of any part of the body.
Note that all application submitted will be seriously examined and anyone who submits a fake certificate or document will be prosecuted.
