2021 General MSME Grant & the Guaranteed Offtake Stimulus Scheme Application.

Few months ago, we made a post regarding the Survival fund, here is a quick continuation or update to the previous article. As you have noticed, the Federal Government has done quite alot in improving SME’s in Nigeria, and this is one of the priorities of the government.

Lately, the Federal Government introduced the Survival Fund Guaranteed Offtake Stimulus Scheme 2021. With just your CAC certificate, you can apply and get the Survival Fund Guaranteed offtake grant.

About Guaranteed Offtake Scheme

The Guaranteed Offtake Stimulus Scheme is aimed at protecting and sustaining the incomes of vulnerable Micro and Small Enterprises by guaranteeing the offtake of their products. A total of 100,000 Micro and Small Enterprises are to benefit from the scheme. The total target national number of beneficiaries is 100,000 (Lagos 3,880, Kano 3,280, Abia 3,080 while other States will each have 2,640 beneficiaries).

The General MSME Grant is a one-off grant of N50,000 that will be given to each qualified MSME as direct cash injection into their enterprise. The total number of beneficiaries in this track is 100,000 spread across the States.

Requirements For The Guaranteed Offtake Scheme:

  • Applicants must be a Nigerian National
  • Applicant must be registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) with at least a business name.
  • Applicant must be ready to produce under NAFDAC and SON specifications
  • Applicant must have a verifiable BVN and Bank account number
  • Applicant must have at least 2 staff members.

Application method can be completed online, and would be carried out on their official portals at www.survivalfund.gov.ng or survivalfund.gov.ng/application

When Will The Survival Fund Guaranteed Offtake Scheme Registration Form Be Out?

Registration has been scheduled to commence on the 9th of February, 2021
