The Federal Government has approved the establishment of two more private universities.The two universities are Edwin Clark University, Kiagbodo, Delta State, and Hezekiah University, Umudi, in Imo State.
According to the minister of Information,“After deliberations, the council ratified the President’s anticipatory approval for the issuance of provisional licences for the establishment of Edwin Clark University, Kiagbodo, Delta State, and Hezekiah University in Umudi, Imo State.”
This new development will be the total number of Private owned universities in the country to 61.
