The Delta State University, Abraka (DELSU) has commence Admission into its New Diploma Courses for 2017/2018 Academic Session for Continuing Education Programmes (CSE) Regular.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following Regular Diploma programmes.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

FACULTY OF ARTS

Diploma in Fine and Applied Arts
A minimum of 4 credits at the WASC, NECO, NABTEB which must include English language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings.

FACULTY OF EDUCATION

Diploma in Nursery and Primary School Administration
a) A minimum of 4 credits in GCE O/L, including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings.
b) A minimum of four (4) merits in TC II including English Language.

FACULTY OF MANAGEMENT SCIENCES

Diploma in Marketing
A minimum of 4 credits pass in the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE), NECO or General Certificate of Education, Ordinary level (GCE O/L), TC II or their equivalent, including English Language, Mathematics and Economics and any other social science subjects obtained in not more than two sittings.

Diploma in Accounting
Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or its equivalent (Teachers Grade II, WASC, GCE Ordinary level, NECO, NABTEB, RSA awarded by WAEC) with a minimum of four (4) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and one other subject from the following: Business Methods, Principles of Accounts, Literature in English, Commerce, History, Statistics, Geography, Government, Agric Science/Biology obtained at not more than two sittings.

Diploma in Banking and Finance
Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or its equivalent (Teachers Grads II, WASCE, GCE Ordinary level, NECO, NABTEB, awarded by WAEC) with a minimum of four (4) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and one other subject from the following: Business Methods, Principles of Accounts, Literature in English, Commerce, History, Statistics, Geography, Government, Agric Science/Biology obtained at not more than two sittings.

Diploma in Business Management and Entrepreneurship
A minimum of 4 credit passes in the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE), NECO or General Certificate of Education, including English Language, Mathematics and Economics and any other social science subjects obtained in not more than two sittings.

FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES

Diploma in Public Administration
A minimum of 4 O/level credits passes in SSCE, NECO, NABTEB, TC II or its equivalent at not more than two sittings which shall include English Language, Mathematics, Government and one other Social Science subject.

Diploma in Criminology and Security Studies
A minimum of 4 credit passes in Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or NECO, General Certificate of Education, Ordinary level (GCE O/L), TC II or their equivalent, including English Language, Mathematics and two social science subjects.

Diploma in Social Work
A minimum of 4 credit passes in Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or NECO, General Certificate of Education, Ordinary level (GCE O/L), TC II or their equivalent, including English Language, Mathematics and two social science subjects.

Diploma in Mass Communication
A minimum of 4 O/L credits in SSCE, NECO, NABTEB, GCE or its equivalent at not more than two sittings. These should include credit in English Language and Literature in English and at least a pass in Mathematics.

Diploma in Accounting
A minimum of 4 O/L credits in Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or its equivalent (Teachers Grads II, WASCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB, RSA awarded by WAEC) in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and one other subject from the following: Business Methods, Principles of Accounts, Literature in English, Commerce, History, Statistics, Geography, Government, Agric. Science/Biology obtained at not more than two sittings.

Diploma in Business Administration
A minimum of 4 credit passes in the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE), NECO or General Certificate of Education, including English Language, Mathematics and Economics and any other social science subjects obtained at not more than two sittings.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Candidates are required to visit www.delsuonline.com to generate an applicant virtual pin of N15,000.00 (Fifteen Thousand naira) only and make payment to any of the following banks: Ecobank, Unity Bank, Zenith Bank and UBA.

PROCEDURE TO GENERATE VIRTUAL PIN

3. Click start
4. Click diploma programme
5. Click start
6. Submit the form and generate pin
7. Print out the pin generated
8. Visit the specified bank for payment

Candidates should with the pin for payment access and complete the Delta State University, Abraka 2017/2018, Diploma form on line at http//www.delsuonline.com with their recent coloured passport size photograph scanned to the JPEG format and not more than 20Kb in size.

Candidates are advised to use virtual pin immediately after payment as the pin will be invalid after six (6) hours of generation.

Candidates are advised to read the instruction on the front page of the website before completing the form.
