The Bonny Vocational Centre (BVC) which is affiliated with the City & Guilds of London Institute is inviting the public for their 2013 annual open day which is holding on the 5th of April 2013 at the school’s premises by 10am-3pm. The institution which was establish as a means of raising the educational value of the country, is one of the most reliable informative portal today. The open day serves as an opportunity for which there would be exhibition, tour of the center, availability of staff to answer your questions etc.

As part of their aim in encouraging educational values, the school is being sponsored by NLNG with a host of other sub sponsors like the shell, fougeroule, DBN etc. Admission into the school is based on a written paper test to which all successful candidates are selected for scholarship in the institution. During their stay as a student of the school, students are giving monthly travel stipends and a daily launch meal as a means of creating total devotion to their studies.

Is The Registration For The Bonny Vocational Center Open To All Individuals?

Yes. Enrollment into the school is totally open to all individuals irrespective of the part of the world they come from.

What is the duration of their course?

The course duration varies according to the department you are in. Some may last for 2 years while some 3years. 

How Much Is The Application Form?

The form is given free to all applicants who meet the requirements of the school.

Do i need to sit for a test before i can be a student?

Yes. You must be able to make it through the cut off mark before you can be taken.

Is The Qualification a Nigerian One?

For now, No. The certificate given to students upon completion of their course is an internationally recognized one. The school is also making partnership with the Nigerian Education Board to include a Nigerian qualification.

Do i need to take jamb before i can sit for the aptitude test?

Absolutely No. But may be inclusive in the future.

Will the certificate fetch me direct entry into any Nigerian Institution?

Many Nigerian institution already accepts direct entry from students having the C&G qualification.

Am i required to pay a fee after any month of probation?

No. Studying in the institution is free as all expenses is being shouldered by the multinational companies sponsoring the institution.

Is it true that i will be given a monthly stipends for my travels and also a daily launch pack every study Day?

Yes.

How can i apply for the 2013 Enrollment Session for the Bonny Vocational Center?

To apply, you must come to the school premises to obtain your form within the 17th-28th of june 2013, which you are advised to fill. While coming, you are expected to bring along your:
