The Joint Task Force has just discovered weapons of mass destruction belonging to Boko Haram in Kano , a place in the North East of Nigeria.

The armory that was uncovered includes materials used in making of locally made explosive devices.
A house to house search was conducted and a large cache of ammunitions and grenades was also discovered in the process of the searching by the Soldiers in Maiduguri .

Briefing Newsmen on the recent discovery in Kano , the Director of State Security Services, Mr.Bassey Eteng told the press during the operation.
He said that 3 suspects have been arrested in connection with the weapons. The Director said that a major terror would have occurred if they had not made this discovery.
The suspected Boko Haram member confessed that they were planning to unleash terror on that day.
Beside the improvised devices, Eteng disclosed that other weapons that were also discovered from the Boko Haram members include, masks, military uniforms, ten electronics detonators, AK47 rifles, 2 pump action, submachine gun and seven bags of urea.
