The Academic Staff Union of Universities has registered its displeasure over the postponement of general elections.
The Chairman of ASUU, University of Ibadan chapter, Segun Ajiboye, while speaking concerning the shift called on Nigerians not to be frustrated by the shift rather they should make sure they collect their PVC,s and wait for the new date.
“The decision is a serious setback for Nigerian democracy. But we should remain steadfast. Let us organize and not agonize,” he said.
INEC on Saturday night postponed the general elections, and announced that the presidential elections will now hold on March 28, while the governorship holds on April 11.
