This is to inform all concerned and interested students regarding the forth coming Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) Matriculation details.The 6th Matriculation Ceremony of the school has been scheduled to hold on Friday, 10th June, 2016, at the Main Campus, Ikot Akpaden by 10.00 a.am.

All fresh students who have been screened and cleared are hereby informed to pay the sum of N2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira) only, for hiring of the academic gowns for the matriculation ceremony.

Payment should be made at the Bursary Department and receipts obtained, and presented to the respective Faculty Officers for issuance of the academic gowns.

Note that all academic gowns, must be returned to the Faculty Officers after the matriculation ceremony by Monday, June 13, 2016, unfailingly. Failure to return the academic gown as required will attract a penalty surcharge of N500.00 (Five hundred Naira) only, per day from Tuesday, June 14, 2016.

Students of the Obio Akpa Campus are hereby, informed that buses will be made available to convey them to the Main campus at Ikot Akpaden for the ceremony. The buses will depart Obio Akpa campus by 7.30. a.m. prompt. Therefore, the students are advised to be ready for movement at the stipulated time.
