I have received quite some mails concerning the difficulty in browsing with the Glo 3gig Blackberry plan on Pc and other mobile devices. Numerous persons complained to me that the plan is not working for them, while some others say it connects and disconnects at intervals. Firstly, there are about three major things that can make your Glo Blackberry Subscription not to work on your computer, which includes wrong APN settings, setting of your browser to obtain ip manually, setting your system to obtain ip manually, inappropriate configuration setup, and lack of extra balance on your Glo sim card(sim card should have nothing less than 30naira as balance).

For those facing the Glo connection problem, please check carefully on how you can correctly setup your Glo Blackberry connection plan on your computer.

  • Launch your Glo NETPRO software or any other one you use and perform the below task(Setup style is the same for all).
Click On Tools

 

  • On the header, select tools and click on options

Click On New To Add New APN Settings
  • To enable the Glo Bis work on your PC, click on New.
Follow Setup To Configure

 

  • Type the exact setup you see on the image above on your on Glo Netpro and save(Click on static to enable APN Settings).The username and password should be left blank while the APN should be blackberry.net with access number as *99#
  • After that, you should be able to browse the web with your Glo plan.

 

How To Setup Your System/Pc To Obtain IP Automatically

 

  • For other problems like setting your system to obtain ip automatically, Click on the network icon and open network and sharing center

  • Click on the wireless Network connection and select properties and click on internet protocol Version.

  • Launch it.Tick on obtain ip automatically on the next window that shows up and save. See final result below
