The Position
- Pipe fitter is a craftsman (NCCER Certified Plus or local equivalent) with specialized training and Skill Verification with reading blueprints and interpreting drawings to layout and construct piping spools associated with industrial piping installations.
- This individual is very well versed in all types of metals and other piping materials.
- The pipe fitter should also be well versed in rigging and be able to install piping systems of varying size and configuration.
Requirements
- Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in the craft.
- Certification in relevant Specialized Training.
