Job Title: Baker

Location: Ogudu GRA, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are in need of skilled, creative bakers who strive to provide excellent service in an efficient and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• The baker will create, execute, implement and improve recipes, perform quality checks on ingredients and finished products. You will perform other duties to ensure that customer needs are satisfied and the bakery is well-stocked and operating smoothly.
• Plan, implement and manage daily operations
• Suggest new menu items
• Understand visitors’ preferences and make suggestions based on findings
• Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread, etc
• Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings so that they are appealing to the eyes
• Monitor supplies and ingredients necessary for daily operations
• Check the quality of material and condition of the equipment
• Maintain a clean cooking station
• Comply to health and safety standards
• Have information about the latest food and industry trends
• Prepare pastries and bakery items for a large number of customers.
• Assist to achieve budgeted sales and profit targets.

Requirements

• SSCE / OND qualification
• In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition
• Knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations (pastries that are gluten-free, sugarless, etc.

Salary
N40,000 – N45,000 Monthly.
