Job Description
- Assist in surgical procedures, preparing operating rooms, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring that all necessary equipment is availableand functioning.
- Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technicians to provide patient care before, during, and after surgery.
- Monitor patient vital signs during surgery and assist in managing any immediate postoperative needs.
- Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with a current license, with additional certification in Operating Room Nursing (CNOR) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an operating room environment.
- Knowledge of surgical procedures, aseptic technique, and patient safety protocols.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment while maintaining attention to detail.
