Job Description

• SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is looking to hire a Scaffold Foreman to join her work force in Nigeria.

Tasks

• In charge of all related to Scaffolding, from design to Installation.
• Prepare Scaffolding activities offshore according to HSE regulations.
• Prepare Scaffolding estimation.
• Prepare the permit to work and getting it approved.
• Implements with Contractor Shutdown Coordinator any Risk Assessment of Job Safety Analysis as required by Project HSE procedures.
• Create work procedures; assess contractors’ personnel and equipment for suitability for the work.
• Provide technical input on contractor and consultant selection with handling and lifting content.
• Verifies that the scaffolding equipment satisfies regulatory requirements including Load bearing calculation note if applicable.

Profile

• Minimum of 5 years Work Experience as a scaffold supervisor / inspector with CISRS certification.
• Experience with System scaffolding (multi directionnal LAYHER) appreciated
• Full Field Shutdown Experience mandatory
• Experience in oil and gas or related industry
• Offshore experience mandatory
• Ability to work in a large multinational team
• Ability to work independently while maintaining good relations with colleagues and others
• Physical ability to work on offshore installations in the climatic conditions of the site
