Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to create effective communication strategies that align with the company’s brand propositions and overall goals.
• Manage PR and communications program, including organizing press conferences, coordinating media and influencers tours, conducting media engagement initiatives, and sponsorship.
• Maintain a strong understanding on the payment industry, the diversifying media landscape.
• Cultivate strategic relationships with local media outlets, industry influencers and other key stakeholders to bolster brand awareness, and driving positive media coverage on products and services.
• Drive PR efforts for marketing campaigns and product launches, ensuring that our messaging effectively reaches our target audience.
• Prepare press releases and meticulously edit and proofread all communication materials.
• Actively participate in crisis management efforts, assist the team during challenging situations to protect and enhance our brand reputation.

Key Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent ideally in the field of PR, Communications, Marketing, Business or Journalism
• 2-5 years of PR experience or relevant industry experience, preferably at a PR agency or in-house communications team.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Organized to handle various ongoing work streams.
• Self-motivated team player, and keen to take ownership of tasks.
• Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
