Description
- As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and assessing the structural integrity of buildings and other structures.
- You will also work with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Design structural systems using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
- Analyze building materials and assess their strength and durability
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
- Work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and other engineers
- Create specifications, drawings, and other technical documents
- Oversee construction projects and ensure they meet safety and quality standards
- Evaluate existing structures and make recommendations for repairs or improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- At least 4 years of experience in structural design and analysis
- Proficiency in using CAD or Civil 3D software and other engineering tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
