Job Title: English Language Art and Literature Teacher

Location: Okija, Anambra

Responsibilities

• Create engaging and dynamic lesson plans that align with the curriculum and foster students’ understanding of English language arts and literature.
• Teach and assess students in various areas, including reading comprehension, literary analysis, writing skills, and grammar.
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and student collaboration.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to support their growth and development.
• Utilize technology and other innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in English, Literature, Education or a related field.
• Teaching Certification (Master’s, PGDE) or relevant teaching experience.
• Sound knowledge and passion for English language arts and literature.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students.
• Familiarity with educational technology and its integration into the classroom.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and continuous learning.
