Job Title: Truck Driver (Female & Male)
Location: Calabar, Cross River
Employment Type: Full-time
Main Functions
- Drive long distances to deliver goods to customers.
- Load and unload cargo.
- Record cargo deliveries.
- Refuel and clean vehicle.
- Report road incidents to the dispatcher.
- Follow traffic laws.
- Inspect trucks and record issues.
- Follow accident procedures.
- Keep an activities log and log hours.
- Report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel.
- Plan routes using GPS system.
- Get goods to delivery point on time.
- Keep commercial driver license up to date.
Requirements
- SSCE Certificate.
- 1 – 3 year driving experience as a trailer driver
- Between 25 – 40 years of age
- Must possess valid class D driving license upgradeable to class G
- Must have good knowledge of highway codes
- Must be proficient in fire fighting techniques
