Job Title: Accounts Officer

Responsibilities

• Proven experience working as an Accounting Supervisor.
• Assist senior accounting personnel with any tasks conducted within the accounting department, or any tasks that require accounting personnel to take part.
• Knowledge of Book keeping and General Accounting.
• Participate in month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliation of accounts, and sales tax computations.
• Prepare consolidated internal and external financial statements by analysing information from general ledger system.
• Process invoices/bills so that they can be paid.
• Supporting supervisory and executive staff by performing any assigned accounting and clerical tasks.
• Invoicing and reconciliation for varying departments.
• Maintaining and promoting excellent vendor relations.
• Assembling, sorting and filling data.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practises.
• The ability to process large amounts of numerical data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong management and leadership skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Detail-oriented.

Requirements

• OND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2-3 years experience in a telecommunication industry
• Proven experience working as an Accounting Officer.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong management and leadership skills.
• Effective communication skills.

Salary
N120,000 monthly.
