A bomb explosion at the Federal College Of Education in the Kabuga area of Kano State has killed at least ten persons.

According to a security source, an IED exploded on the campus while students massed around a notice board to check their examination results. The explosion was followed by a series of gunfire apparently, from Boko Haram terrorists.
Several students and staff of the school were affected. The majority of the casualties were women.
