Jaykay Group is a manufacturing company that deals with the production of carpets, rugs, tufted grass, mosque runners etc.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Storekeeper (Spare Parts)

Location: Sharada, Kano
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• To store, and issue supplies in a supply operation
• Ensure and maintain proper inventory system and all parts issued/received are reflected immediately on to the stock card daily
• Applying inventory control methods
• Operating material handling equipment; entering and retrieving data using a computerized records system.
• Provides information of any excess, lose and damaged item
• Manage the spare part store organization and space utilization
• Manage supervision of spare parts movements and control of stocks
• Providing details when needed about spare parts part numbers based on experience or catalogues
• Record properly the GRN / Issuing Slip / Stock.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND / NCE / OND qualification
• At least 3 years experience as storekeeper (spare parts).
• The candidates should have major experience in spare parts.
• Experience and knowledge of GRN, Bin cards, invoices, waybills and other store related documents.
• Computer knowledge (microsoft office)
• Knowledge of ERP is an added advantage
• Must have experience working in a factory (experience in textile industry is an added advantage.)
• Must have strong organizational skills
• Not less than 35 years.
