Rigger is a craftsman (Advanced Certification) who has Specialized training and Skill Verification in crane symbols, directing a crane operator and crew during rigging operations, rigging and lifting a complex load, reeling a block and assembling and stowing a jib.
Is educated in the proper techniques and safety requirements to secure, lift and set equipment, piping or other objects that require lifting apparatuses or other methods of lifting.
Requirements
Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or equivalent with minimum 5 years relevant work experience in the craft.
