Our All-in-One Insurance Management Infrastructure powers embedded insurance distribution, claims automation and risk assessment and analysis while helping insurers to increase portfolio profitability, customer experience and better decision making powered by data and technology.
About Your Role
- Design robust API services to support Partners (both mobile and desktop partners)
- Build reusable codes and libraries for future use
- Support Partners during API integrations
- Analyse Octamile’s Partners needs, bottlenecks to ensure a positive user experience
- Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic
- Set up server for new products and integrations
- Provide back-end functionality that can run smoothly from any device or browser type
- Test and fix bugs or other coding issues where required
- Maintain a stable server and ensure minimisation of system downtime and risks that may impact business and Partners activities
About You
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role
- Knowledge of backend languages e.g. PHP, GOLANG
- Familiarity with database management technologies e.g. MySQL and PostgreSQL
- Ability to work with APIs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Critical thinker and problem solving skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
