We provide a wide range of independent laboratory tests including but not limited to chemical and microbiological tests, procurement, and installation of laboratory equipment, relevant training along with consultancy services to foster the development of research practices across the world.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Analytical Chemist

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze samples from various sources to provide information on compounds or quantities of compounds present
• Use analytical techniques and instrumentation, such as Gas Chromatography (GC),Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) to investigate chemical compositions
• Review and evaluate experiments and analyses
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Keep up to date with the latest scientific and technical trends

Qualifications

• A minimum of B.Sc Degree in Analytical Chemistry
• 2 years work experience.
• Ability to use AAS and GC
• Experience in the application of Good Laboratory Practices and ISO Standards
• Experience in an Environmental Lab is an advantage
