Job Title: Farm Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Supervise all farm activity
• Ensure implementation of farm policy and procedures
• Fill and keep all farm records
• Monitor and follow up on every aspect of animal productivity
• Increase animal productivity and efficiency
• Monitor animal health and behaviour
• Promote animal wellbeing and comfort
• Work to determine treatment of sick/injured animals
• Ensure feed is preserved
• Supervise mixing of feed
• Recruit junior worker
• Manage and Supervise Junior staff / Farmworker
• Assist Farmworker in all aspects of their work
• Check all animals daily and report any concerns
• Ensure all animals are effectively fed and given clean drinking water
• Communicate farm situation with the business head in the morning and evening daily after rounds.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2 years work experience.
