Key Responsibilities

• Incident Management:
  • Resolve Li incident and complaints
  • Collate IS related incidences and ensure it is properly logged
  • Manage the incidence lifecycle Partake in resolving users incidents/issues in CC and escalate tickets to back-end stakeholders
  • Follow up on escalated incidences ensuring resolution with agreed TAT and update users on their incidence
• Problem Management:
  • Identify problems
  • Use known errors to resolve problems
  • Manage problems proactively
• Configuration Management:
  • Installing and Configuring computer systems and related applications
  • Deployment and allocation of IS devices
  • (Desktop, Printers, Laptops, scanners etc)
• Availability Management Availability and Reliability by ensuring:
  • 24/7 support which will involve shift duty work schedule.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

• B.Sc. / B.Eng. Computer Science / Engineering, or Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Statistics, Management Information Systems or any Physical Sciences with a minimum of 2nd Class Upper.
• Relevant IT Certifications like ITIL foundations, MCP, CCNA etc
• 2 to 3 years gained within the IT/Telecommunication industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suites, viz; Word, Excel, Visio, OneNote, Project, Access etc. usage
• Proficient in PC and Peripherals setup, installation and troubleshooting, as well as various peripherals, data entry, and file updating.
• Experienced in system-operations training, and Collections
• Ability to manage a multicultural and multi- skilled workforce
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
