We are in search for young, experienced and passionate individuals to join our team in the underlisted position:

Job Title: Literacy Teacher

Location: Rumukurushi, Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop exciting and relevant literacy learning experiences for children in years 3-6 using the provided curriculum.
• Assists struggling students to improve their literacy skills.
• Collaborates with other teachers to promote the learning and implementation of best practices in literacy instruction.
• Leads school-wide efforts to improve literacy instruction.
• Creates and examines data to measure the success of literacy programs and instruction.
• Maintain open communication between parents and work colleagues in building and maintaining a supportive and encouraging team environment.
• Keep accurate and updated ongoing records of each child’s progress and prepare reports.

Minimum Educational Qualification / Experience

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Education from a recognized institution with at least 1 year experience.
