Job Summary

• The objective of this position is to ensure the safety of the company’s data, personnel and assets.

Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of the Chief Security Officer are as follows:

• Safeguarding the company, its personnel and assets.
• Building a comprehensive security programme for the company.
• Supervising the operations of any external Security outfit.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining security processes and policies.
• Identifying and reducing risks.
• Ensuring that the company’s security policies comply with federal laws and legislations.
• Presenting risk assessments and improved security policies to management team members.
• Working with management to develop and implement an appropriate budget for security programs.
• And any other responsibilities as may be required by the employer

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Management, Information Technology Systems or a similar field.
• 8 – 12 years of work experience.
• Must be a retired military officer.
• Must be residing or willing to move to Bacita LGA in Kwara State.

• Excellent Public Speaking skills
• Exceptional managerial skills and ability to lead a team.
• Excellent knowledge of state and federal information security laws.
• Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively and delegate
• Ability to research and stay up to date with security trends, as well as changing government and state laws.
• Proficiency in information management Systems.

Salary

• N100,000 – N350,000 monthly.
