Geomatics Specialist at a Reputable Domestic Gas Local Distribution Company Full Time

A reputable domestic Gas Local Distribution Company (LDC), with an excellent safety track record and over 20 years experience in the distribution and transmission of natural gas via pipelines to industrial / commercial customers is in Nigeria.

We are desirous of recruiting suitably qualified individuals in the position below:

Job Title: Geomatics Specialist

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Support and be the source of reference to the geomatics requirements for client pipelines and other assets / projects.
• You will participate in all phases of the opportunity realization process to develop and mature opportunities  and projects.
• As geomatics Engineer, you will be at the forefront of supporting company’s ambition by supporting growth, sales and distribution and maturing identified opportunities in the Eastern, Western and Niger Delta regions using Company’s Project Management Guide to achieve growth ambitions.
• Requires significant and frequent field / site activities and interface management with stakeholders, both internal an external assets located in Lagos, Ogun Rivers, Abia an Bayelsa States.

Minimum Qualification

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Geomatics / Survey Engineering Degree and experience in Pipeline Works.

Experience:

• 5 – 7 years experience.

Added Advantage:

• Experience in similar geomatics role (with good knowledge of Gas downstream pipelines and projects)
• Previous experience in oil and gas pipelines and remote site work environments.
