We are seeking for a highly qualified candidate to fill the position below:

Job Title: Proposal Engineer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to understand their processes and develop the best solutions for their requirements
• Work with our engineers and designers to develop and quote cost effective solutions
• Recognize and understand the customers’ needs, make suggestions for possible solutions and quickly develop budgetary numbers. Accuracy is essential
• Technology research and analysis
• Cost analysis and estimating
• Develop value added propositions and proposal writing
• Responsible for issuing technical and commercial submittals for tenders before closing dates
• Responsible for following up open orders until delivery and invoice issuance
• Respond timely and accurately to customers’ requests for information and requests for pricing
• Manage inquiry and order log sheet
• Immediately report any loss incurred after order placement by customers
• Maintain full up to date technical awareness of the products
• Assist and reply customer with technical clarification if needed
• Additional duties may be assigned as required

Job Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• Minimum of one year experience (post nysc) as a proposal engineer
• Strong technical writing skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Highly organized, excellent problem solver, strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Very good command of English and MS Office
• Able to meet fixed deadlines and manage under pressure
• Professional efficiency in managing multiple requests/projects in parallel
• Able to build and deliver presentations.
