We are seeking for a highly qualified candidate to fill the position below:

Job Title: Media & Communications Specialist / Digital Marketer

Location: Akowonjo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
Digital Marketer:

• Design and oversee all aspects of our digital marketing department including our marketing database, email, and display advertising campaigns.
• Develop and manage sales/marketing campaign budgets.
• Responsible for achieving aggressive weekly targets.
• Plan and manage our social media platforms.
• Prepare accurate reports on our marketing campaign’s overall performance.
• Coordinate with advertising and media experts to improve marketing results.
• Identify the latest trends and technologies affecting our industry.
• Evaluate important metrics that affect our website traffic, service quotas, and target audience.
• Work with your team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies.
• Oversee and manage all contests, giveaways, and other digital projects.
• Knowledge of SEO & Google Analytics

Media and Communications Specialist:

• Develop and implement a media(social) strategy aligned with the organizational communications strategy, imparting key ‘unique selling points’ with audience-specific, tailored content to achieve maximum measurable impact on the company’s profile.
• Develop a media outreach plan to identify and build relations with a network of traditional and specialized media and maintain these relations to increase the company’s media profile.
• Build relationships with social media editors at a leading news and media organizations, helping to secure external placement of the company’s content and enhance coverage of its work.
• To draft media announcements, releases and advisories.

Communications:

• Develop effective corporate communication strategies
• Work with various departmental teams to ensure that the communications activities calendar is kept up to date.
• Act as a spokesperson for the organization.
• Assist in communication of strategies or messages from management

Qualifications

• First Degree in Public Relations, Communications or a relevant field
• 4 – 6 years proven experience or in a similar role
• Experience working in a creative public relations or marketing role would be an added advantage.
