Job Title: Internal Auditor

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Head, Risk Management / Internal Audit to implement the approved Internal Audit plans
• Liaise with all Business Units to ensure successful implementation of audit plans.
• Assess compliance with established business control policies, processes, and procedures in all Business Units.
• Assess and monitor adequacy / quality of adherence to internal control procedures.
• State identified weaknesses in controls to the Head, Risk Management / Internal Audit and recommends workable solutions.
• Investigate violations of FSL Group’s operational procedures and makes recommendations on appropriate preventive or remedial action.
• Provide regular accurate and objective reports / updates to inform and guide management.
• Review the reconciliation of the book / physical inventory of Property Plant & Equipment in each location.
• Assist in monitoring the effectiveness of established Internal audit policies, processes, and procedures and communicates identified weaknesses to Management with appropriate improvement solutions.
• Prepare and submit internal audit assessment reports (issues, recommendations) to Head, Internal Audit.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND qualification
• 5 – 7 years work experience.

• Must be willing to travel for the purpose of audit / investigation within Nigeria.
