Job Title: Procurement Officer (Technical)

Job Summary

• The Procurement Officer will perform technical duties related to the purchasing of supplies, and equipment in accordance with established company policies and procedures, to ensure the timely and cost-effective supply of right quality goods and services to the organization.

Job Description

• Expedite procurement processes by scheduling material demands, ensuring timely receipt of materials
• Identifying inventory items for standardized ordering procedures
• Review and approve extensions to existing order
• Monitoring orders to ensure timely delivery
• Initiating and authorizing corrective actions on overdue orders
• Negotiates with suppliers and maintains good communications with major suppliers.
• Prepares and reviews reports on outstanding unprocessed items.
• perform all other related duties as required

Qualifications

• B.Sc / HND in Mechanical Engineering or any related field
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience

Technical:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Effective problem-solving and technical skills
• Good Analytical Skills and proficiency in Microsoft office suite
• A good team player and eye for detail
• Problem Solving/Analysis skill
• Strategic thinking and strong execution skills.

Non-Technical:

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making

Salary
NGN 80,000 – 100,000 Monthly.
