Drive long distances to deliver goods to customers
Load and unload cargo
Record cargo deliveries
Refuel and clean vehicle
Report road incidents to the dispatcher
Follow traffic laws
Inspect trucks and record issues
Follow accident procedures
Drive tractor-trailer combination trucks in and between cities and over long distances to deliver products, livestock, or materials
Supervisefreight loading and unloading, secure thefreight to prevent damage, and ensure thatfreight weight limits are not exceeded. They are also required to maintain trip logs.
