The West African Examination Councils denied rumors that they had published results of the 2012 May/June WAEC recently written.
The Deputy Director, Public affairs of the council, Mr. Yusuf Ari, in an interview with the press in Lagos , denied these rumors.
He mentioned in his statement that the council received information that some fraudulent individuals were trying to deceive members of the public by posting fraudulent information online concerning the result.
He added that these fraudsters even went as far as urging innocent citizens to buy scratch card to access their results.
He concluded by advising members of the public to ignore all rumors regarding this development.
