The federal Government has declared Monday, August 20, and Tuesday, August 21, 2012 as public holidays.
These public holidays was declared to help mark this year’s Eid-el-Fitri.
This declaration was made by the Minister of interior, Mr. Abba Moro, on behalf of the Federal Government of Nigeria.
Nigerians are expected to be on sober reflection and pray for peace irrespective of their religious belief.
Eid-el-Fitri marks the end of the 30-day fasting observed by the Muslim.
