– Application  procedures and guidelines 2016/17

This is inform all interested members of the public that the application are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission
into the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology,
Vom, Jos, various Higher National Diploma (HND) and Remedial
programmes for the 2016/2017 academic session.
FCAHPTVOM ADMISSION – PROGRAMMES AND REQUIREMENTS.
Remedial Programme
Evidence of attempting the Senior Secondary School Examination (SSCE)
organised by WAEC or NECO or their equivalent in science subjects.
Higher National Diploma in Animal Health
Applicants must possess all the following:
1. Five Credit level passes in SSCE/GCE or its equivalent in not more
than two (2) sittings. Credit passes in English language,
Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry and any other
science subject. At least a pass in Chemistry is compulsory.
2. National Diploma in Animal Health and Production Technology with a
minimum of lower credit pass.
A minimum of one year post National Diploma cognate experience.
1. In exceptional cases, National Diploma certificate holders with a
pass but with two (2) or more years cognate experience may be
considered.
2. The candidate must be from National Board for Technical Education
(NBTE) accredited programme.
3. National Diploma JAMB Admission letter.
Higher National Diploma in Animal Production
Applicants must possess all the following:
1. Items i, iii, iv, v and vi as in ‘A6’ above.
2. National Diploma with a minimum of lower credit in Agricultural
Technology programmes, Animal Health and Production Technology,
Wildlife and Eco-Tourism Management and Innovation Agriculture.
Higher National Diploma in Agricultural Extension and Management
Applicants must possess all the following:
1. Items i, iii, iv, v and vi as in ‘A6’ above.
2. National Diploma with a minimum of lower credit in any Agricultural
programme (E.g. ND Pest Control, Agricultural Marketing,
Forestry, Soil Science, Ranch Management, Fisheries and Wild life
Management).
HOW TO APPLY FOR FCAHPTVOM ADMISSION.
Admission Forms for HND costs N2000.
Admission Forms for Remedial costs N1500.

METHOD OF APPLICATION
Application forms are available at http://portal.fcahptvom.edu.ng/
application/ for HND and Remedial and print out acknowledgment slips.
Students who wish to be admitted only need to come for screening with
their original certificates and documents. Complete Pre-screening
registration at http://portal.fcahptvom.edu.ng/pre-screening/ and print out acknowledgment slips.
CLOSING DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF FORMS: All forms are to be
completed by 9th of July, 2016.
