Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Printing Operator with a strong background in corrugation plant operations to join our production team.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating and maintaining printing machines used in the production of corrugated cardboard packaging.
• This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate flexographic and/or rotary die-cut printing machines used in the corrugated manufacturing process.
• Monitor machine operations during production to ensure high-quality printing on corrugated sheets.
• Prepare printing plates, adjust ink settings, and perform regular quality checks to maintain print consistency and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet daily output targets and customer specifications.
• Ensure proper alignment, color registration, and print clarity on all products.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, including run times, material usage, and output quantities.
• Adhere to all plant safety procedures and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Assist with changeovers and setup for different print jobs as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the printing area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of practical experience operating printing equipment in a corrugation plant.
• Strong knowledge of flexographic printing and corrugated board properties.
• Familiarity with machine calibration, ink management, and plate mounting.
• Ability to read and interpret production orders, job specs, and technical drawings.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle materials up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
