Job Title: Junior Accountant

Job Description

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and monthly management accounts.
• Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Reconcile bank statements and assist with cash flow monitoring.
• Maintain and update ledgers, journals, and other financial records.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Process payroll, staff reimbursements, and petty cash.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial documents.
• Assist in tax preparations, audits, and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with vendors and clients to resolve billing and payment issues.
• Provide general support to the Finance Department and contribute to process improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2 years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).

Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 Monthly.
