Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Fitter to join our client’s team in Sagamu.
• The ideal candidate will lead mechanical fitting activities, ensuring the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical systems are carried out efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform mechanical fitting, assembly, and maintenance operations
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings and mechanical blueprints
• Diagnose mechanical issues and execute effective solutions
• Lead a team of junior fitters and ensure quality workmanship
• Monitor and enforce safety and operational procedures
• Coordinate with engineers and maintenance teams for continuous improvement
• Document maintenance and repair activities accurately

Requirements

• OND, Trade Test, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mechanical fitting within a manufacturing or mechanical industry
• Strong technical expertise in mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Ability to lead a team and manage work schedules
• Excellent troubleshooting and mechanical reasoning skills
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Sagamu.
