Job Description

• A Supervising Security Officer oversees and coordinates security operations, ensuring adherence to protocols and policies, managing security personnel, and responding to incidents within a designated area, often acting as a liaison between management and security staff.

Key Responsibilities
Supervision and Management:

• Supervises and directs the work of security officers, ensuring they adhere to established procedures and protocols.
• Assigns tasks and responsibilities to security personnel, ensuring efficient coverage and resource allocation.
• Conducts performance evaluations and provides training and development opportunities for security officers.
• Manages scheduling, ensuring adequate staffing levels and coverage.

Security Operations:

• Oversees and monitors security systems, including access control, surveillance, and alarm systems.
• Responds to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies, taking appropriate action to ensure safety and security.
• Conducts patrols and inspections of premises, identifying potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Ensures the security of property, personnel, and assets by implementing and enforcing security measures.

Liaison and Communication:

• Serves as a liaison between security personnel, management, and other stakeholders.
• Communicates security-related information and incidents to relevant parties.
• Collaborates with other departments to address security concerns and improve security operations.

Compliance and Reporting:

• Ensures compliance with security policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Maintains accurate records of security activities and incidents.
• Prepares and submits reports on security operations and incidents.

Safety and Security:

• Prioritizes the safety and security of personnel and property.
• Implements and enforces safety procedures and protocols.
• Maintains a safe and secure work environment for security personnel.

Salary
N60,000 – N70,000 Monthly.
