Job Title: Cost Accountant

Job Summary

• As our Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for tracking, analyzing and controlling the costs associated with a project, such as large-scale construction projects where there are multiple subcontractors, inspectors and suppliers who all need paying.
• Also forecasting expenditures, planning budgets, classifying costs by type, verifying supplier invoices and managing change events that impact the budget.

Responsibilities

• Analyze invoices to ensure correct products/services were received at the expected cost
• Collaborate with department heads to strategize ways to minimize waste
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the interdependency of cost drivers
• Develop and implement proactive solutions and cost-cutting measures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or any relevant field.
• 3-5 Years of working experience in a similar role
• Good communication skill
• Reporting writing skill.

Salary
NGN 250,000 – NGN400,000 gross Monthly.
