Job Title: Senior Accountant – MI

Responsibilities

• Assist FC in preparation of annual budgets for the company, all its operations and departments.
• Carrying out monthly operations performance variance analysis between budgeted and actual revenues and costs, obtaining reasons for such variances from the responsible officers of the company, and advising management on compliance with budgets.
• Monitoring all capital expenditure to ensure that the company does not exceed its approved CAPEX budget.
• Responsible for the company’s fixed assets administration (verification, additions, depreciation, WIP, disposal) in line with company’s policies.
• Assist in appraisal and preparation of justifications for all new investments in the Company’s businesses.
• Assist FC in determining appropriate pricing of the company’s products and services, taking into consideration the required level of profitability and other market indices,
• Accurate costing of all production batches, ensuring appropriate posting into the General Ledger.
• Periodically Carrying out production costs and yield analysis, comparing actual costs and yields with standards/targets, advising management of any variance noted and appropriate actions to
• take.
• Monthly reviews of general ledger accounts for proper classification, accuracy and ensuring financial numbers/output integrity.

Qualifications and Experience

• HND / B.Sc. in Accounting, or a related field; ICAN Chartered Required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment.
• Computer knowledge (Microsoft Word).

• ERP Software knowledge.

Salary
N330,00 – N440,000 monthly.
