Job Title: Hotel Receptionist Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Organizes, directs, and monitors the daily activities of the Receptionist
• Must be able to complete all of the duties and responsibilities of the hotel Receptionist.
• Monitors and maintains the front desk area.
• Review the daily room availability and inform all appropriate staff.
• Ensures Outstanding customer care at all times.
• Accurately answers inquiries from potential guests and accepts hotel reservations.
• Reviews status of departures on a daily basis; relays all pertinent information to front desk agents and other appropriate staff.
• Ensures all necessary reports and forms are completed daily.
• Consistently resolves guest problems and complaints in an efficient manner while demonstrating a sense of urgency.
• Responds to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information and guest concerns in a timely fashion
• Supervises daily shift process ensuring all team members adhere to standard operating procedures and are friendly and attentive to guest needs and service.
• Cross checks all billing instructions are correctly updated
• Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
• Ensures Front desk log book and hotel log book are always updated and acted upon.
• Ensures safety by following guest check-in and security procedures and reporting suspicious activity to Shift Supervisor, Manager or GM.
• Takes responsibility in the absence of the Hotel Manager and Assistant Hotel Manager.
• Prepares and coordinates schedules, and expedites workflow.
• Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of hotel services, facilities, policies, and room rates and area attractions.

Qualifications

• Applicant possesses a minimum of B.Sc from any of the Nigeria-recognized Universities and any related professional course will be an added advantage.
• Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a 4-star hotel environment.
• Must have a very good knowledge of hotel reservations software like Active 360 / BioDus.
• Must be smart, Confident and good-looking
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must be flexible to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must have excellent interpersonal people and coaching skills
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a positive, friendly attitude even under high pressure.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Candidates should reside within the Akute, Agege, Ogba, Ikeja, Ojodu, and Iyana Ipaja axis.

Salary
N72,000 – N120,000 / month.
