Job Summary

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting a variety of desserts, pastries, and other baked goods, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare a wide variety of baked goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, and other pastries.
• Create new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage customer interest.
• Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings, and techniques to ensure they are visually appealing.
• Monitor ingredient stocks and place orders as needed.
• Ensure the bakery is clean and meets all health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth and timely delivery of all orders.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in pastry-making and baking techniques.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef
• In-depth knowledge of various pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
• Creativity and innovation in dessert-making.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Culinary Degree or pastry certification is a plus.
