Job Title: Bursar

Location: Evbuobanosa, Benin – Edo

Responsibilities 

• The Bursar of the University shall be the head of the Finance Department of the University and shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the administration and control of the financial affairs of the University.
• The Bursar shall advise the Council, Vice-Chancellor, Committees, Deans, and other officers of the University on financial matters.
• The Bursar must ensure the correct and timely preparation of financial statements and accounts of the University and their submission to the Vice-Chancellor, Council, and Committees.
• The Bursar must ensure the execution of the annual audits of the University’s accounts in an efficient and effective manner.

Requirements

• Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with specialized computer skills and shall possess professionally recognized accounting qualifications;
• He/She must be a Chartered Accountant with at least fifteen (15) years of cognate post-qualification experience.
• Possession of postgraduate degrees will be an added advantage.
