Job Title: Senior Lecturer (Social Sciences)

Job Description
We require Lecturers who can teach in the following Departments:

• Department of Sociology
• Department of Political Science
• Department of Geography & Environmental Studies
• Department of Economics
• Department of Library and Information Science
• Department of Social Work

Requirements

• A candidate must possess a Ph.D in the relevant field from a recognized University, and must have been a Lecturer I for three at least (3) years with relevant academic publications.

Conditions of Service

• All successful candidates will be on probation for two (2) years continuous service after assumption of duty, thereafter they will retire at the age of 65.
• Other conditions are as stated in the Regulations governing staff conditions of service in Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt.
